Mysql-Datenbankname???

Mein Hoster ist ein Kumpel in der DomRep. Er hat mir angeboten mysql,cgi,php,unlimited traffic,30MB Speicher für 40 Euro im Jahr - ohne Werbung.
Da ich sowas aufm sonst. Markt weit und breit nich finde hab ich zugegriffen. Allerdings hab ich von Programmierung keine Ahnung.

Hab jetzt eine Datenbank namens "db_mexxa" erstellt.
Allerdings heißt die nur so, da steht ja noch nix drin.

mhm..wollte das hier installieren

dann wird man aufgefordert gewisse Sachen einzugeben.

Database server type: mysql
Database server hostname / IP address: localhost
Database username: *****
Database password: *****
Database name: db_mexxa

und wenn ich ok klicke, kommt das hier:

Attempting to connect...
Connect failed: unexpected error from the database.
Error number: 1044
Error description: Access denied for user: 'mexxa@localhost' to database 'db_mexxa'

Naja, und jetzt bin ich planlos :-(
Wie neu die Serversoftware ist, ist glaub ich relativ egal, da es für die älteren Foren, etc ausreichen sollte.
Vielleicht weiß ja einer von euch noch nen Rat bevor ich noch ne Verzweiflungstat begehe :-)
