Folgende Mail ist im Umlauf:
From: Steve Shtotland
[mailto:westwood@representative.com] Sent: Sunday, October 29, 2000 9:15 PM
Subject: Urgent information about your Red Alert 2 !

During our online server analysis, we have discovered that your RED ALERT 2 CD-Key appeared under more than one host instance, i.e. two or more users were seen using the same CD-Key. This means that either your CD-Key is genuine or the other users'. In such cases we inform both parties of the situation and the party that can prove that the CD-Key was obtained by legal means, (that is the game was legally purchased), will get to keep the account and therefore will be able to have multiplayer capability. The party that will not be able to prove CD-Keys' validity will be denied of such multiplayer services, and may be subject to federal prosecution due to copyright violation. To fully prove that the CD-Key was obtained by legal means, you must submit the following information to us.

* Store name where the game was purchased.
* Date of purchase.
* First and Last name.
* Valid CD-Key, that is located on the product itself.

If the above criteria are proven to be valid -- The party using illegal CD-Key will be suspended without notice. If we do not get a reply from you within 24 hours, both parties will be suspended without further notice, for a time period of month, until we receive a valid reply.

BTW, welcher normale Mensch antwortet auf solche Mails? Noch dazu mit einem Absender @representative.com?? Naja, dumme Leute gibts immer wieder.

Ich glaube auch, dass es genug "Newbies" gibt, die solche Mails wirklich beantworten....tja was soll man machen.

Ich kann nur hoffen, dass sich diese Leute nicht vertippen und plötzlich meinen Key dort hinschicken
