Scheiß kopierschutz!!!

Habe gerade folgenden Eintrag bei Lucasarts gefunden:

Got it to finally work...talked to someone on another site and they said to look in my registry for an entry:

On XP, go to
Start-Run-Regedit32 then enter

Look under HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE then SOFTWARE then MountedDevices. Right-Click this and choose PERMISSIONS highlight Administrator then look down under the ALLOW section and make sure the first two boxes are checked (Full Control and Read). If not, put checks in those boxes then hit ok.

After I did that, the game runs perfect for me. For some reason it was denying Securom access to verify the cd. Dunno how or why this happened but it's fixed now.


Vielleicht hilft das einigen, die Probleme mit der DVD Erkennung haben.

also ich hatte noch etwas platz auf meiner platte und habe mal Windows XP auf eine neue Partition installiert. Treiber drauf und gleich EAW installiert.
Bei mir gehts jetzt. Aber so kannst nicht sein. Was ist das für ein mieser Support. Fast so schlimm wie WoW updaten.

PS: Ich habe mal das probiert was HunterDamcles eben geschrieben hat.
Bei mir hat es im "alten" windows XP funktioniert. Danke HunterDamacles
