Haiti earthquake

An earthquake in Haiti has killed somewhere between 30,000 to 1000,000 people on January 12, 2010. Both civilian and government structures were pummeled in the wake of the earthquake. This earthquake went 8.1 miles underneath the ground, had 42 aftershocks, a magnitude of 7.0, and had an intensity of MM X. Even the Haitian's religious shaman, Joseph Serge Miot, was killed in the horrific earthquake. The Haitian ambassador to the United States, Raymond Joseph, has asked the United States of America to offer aid in this crisis. Several other Haitian diplomats have done the same in other countries. It is my personal belief that it will take Haiti quite some time to recover from this, and their infrastructure may remain in ruins years after this travesty. If you have family or friends in Haiti, you have our support in trying to find them. If you are from Haiti, feel free to share your thoughts on the earthquake.
