Hey folks,

The Official Battle for Middle-Earth 1v1 and 2v2 Ladders have been reset! This reset was necessary to put everyone back on an equal footing as we begin implementation of the Disconnect Policy.

All player Ratings have been reset - players need to play a 1v1 or 2v2 Quick Match to be added to the ladder once again. All players will keep their existing W/L Records, as well as their Match History.

The Report Abuse form is also available for players to report problems and abuse on the ladder. Disconnects will be automatically reported, so you don't have to report them yourself. Use this form to report all other types of abuse. If you'd like a response, please remember to list the email address you wish the Admin to contact you back at in the "Comments" field.

Disconnect Policy Information:

Disconnects will be monitored automatically by the ladder. Disconnect too many times, and your rank will be automatically reset. If your rank is reset too many times, you will be banned from the ladder!

As all things that concern cheating prevention in online gaming, nothing is perfect. We fully expect that cheaters will continue to try to find another way to cheat. GameSpy Arena and EA are committed to providing users with as cheat-free an environment as possible - the "Disconnect Policy" will be constantly tweaked and fine-tuned to provide the best level of fair-play possible.
